Required Final Grade = (Desired Grade - (1 - Final Exam Weight) * Current Grade) / Final Exam Weight
For example, if you have a 90% in a class and you want to get an A (93%) in the class, and the final exam is worth 20% of your grade, you would need to score a 100% on the final exam to get an A in the class.
